Three questions for Dr. med. Wolfram Wenz

Dr. Wenz, how did you arrive at your current profession?

“I was very ambitious as a child, and wanted to be the best in one particular area. This didn't quite happen in sport, art and music,. On the search for my personal expertise, I finally found what I was looking for in orthopaedics. I take great pleasure in actively improving the quality of life of my patients. Because pain-free walking is unbelievably important for our everyday lives, our profession, and ultimately our happiness.”

What made you decide to set up a joint practice with Prof. Akbar?

“It's simply always better if there are two of you – particularly when you've known each other for as long as we have. We have been friends for more than 20 years. Not only do we have a common interest in orthopedics, we also have a similar temperament. And I would describe that as follows: authentic, ambitious, charmingly "unscrupulous", but also responsible and always driven by the major desire to be among the best in our field.”

What do you pay particular attention to when dealing with your patients?

“At EXPERTS FIRST, we pay particular attention to the following values when dealing with our patients: Friendliness and authenticity in communication, honest advice – punctuality, reliability and availability at all times. With us everything really is geared towards one hundred percent patient satisfaction - there is no way that we would be satisfied with anything less.”

WHY WE DO, WHAT WE DO:
PATIENTENSTIMMEN.

Patient (47 years old)

“Dr. Wenz operated on my right foot over a year ago. Long walks and even lots of dancing – I can do all of that again without problems. Everything without foot pain and wearing normal shoes! I could never have imagined that I could ever do that again. I marvel at my foot every day. Dr. Wenz was the first and only doctor to assure me that I would have a better quality of life after the operation. And he kept his promise - for which I thank him with all my heart!”

Patient (26 years old)

“My parents and I became aware of Dr. Wenz when we watched the TV show "The Bone Docs". After a very nice personal meeting with Dr. Wenz, everything happened very quickly: a professional diagnosis, a prompt surgery appointment and the expert prognosis that my feet would improve significantly after surgical correction. The operations on both of my feet were carried out without any complications whatsoever, and with visible success! That is why I am really very grateful to Dr. Wenz – also for the personal attention that helped me a great deal throughout the entire process. My greatest wish now is that I can learn to walk with normal shoes, without any aids. And this is absolutely possible thanks to Dr. Wenz. Stay healthy Dr. Wenz, so that many more patients will benefit from your surgical skills!”
